Pensavo ci fosse un limite al peggio. Credevo che non si potesse arrivare a tanto, soprattutto dopo la scorsa sfilata (autunno/inverno), quella ispirata a
McDonalds e
Spongebob, per intenderci. Ed ero convinta che quella fosse già il peggio che mente umana potesse partorire. Ma mi sbagliavo. Jeremy Scott è riuscito a superare anche sè stesso. E lo ha fatto con un tristissimo omaggio alla modella per eccellenza:
Barbie. La donna
Moschino pare si sia catapultata nel famoso Plastick World, fatto di abitini fucsia, capelli biondissimi e cotonatissimi e fantasie monogram stile anni '80. Un'ispirazione banale e sinceramente anche un po'offensiva dedicata alla quasi centenaria bambola. Ma che, inspiegabilmente, ha riscosso un grandissimo successo. Volete sapere l'unica cosa che mi è piaciuta di tutta questa collezione? Il gadget che il brand ha deciso di distribuire agli invitati e che sarà a breve in commercio anche per i comuni mortali: la cover fucsia in silicone a forma di specchio. Ecco l'unica cosa per cui sarebbe valsa la pena partecipare allo show. Ma ora ditemi la vostra, sono curiosa!
I thought there was a limit to the worse. I didn't think you could go that far, especially after the last show (autumn/winter), the one inspired by Spongebob and McDonalds, for instance. And I was convinced that this was already the worst that the human mind could bear. But I was wrong. Jeremy Scott has managed to overcome himself. And he did it with a sad tribute to the model par excellence: Barbie. The woman Moschino seems to have thrown in the famous Plastick World, made of fuchsia dresses, blond hair and monogram paterns in 80's style. An inspiration trivial and even a little offensive sincerely dedicated to the almost century-old doll. But, inexplicably, it was a huge success. Want to know the one thing that I liked about this whole collection? The gadget that the brand has decided to distribute to the guests and that will soon be on the market for mere mortals: the cover in fuchsia silicone shaped mirror. That's the only thing that would be worth it to participate in the show. But now tell me yours, I'm curious!
