Parigi, 1963: la maison Diptyque crea la prima candela profumata. Oggi, cinquant'anni dopo, le stesse candele decorano milioni di case in tutto il mondo. Compresa la mia. Ne sono venuta a conoscenza due anni fa quando, passando di fronte alla vetrina di San Carlo, in Torino, ho adocchiato uno scaffale pieno di vasetti. Incuriosita, sono entrata. E solo dopo averla appoggiata sul tavolo mi sono accorta del fantastico packaging. Un vasetto di vetro, un'etichetta semplice ma d'effetto. Un piccolo pezzo di design. Una piccola meraviglia.
