NEW YEAR WITH CHIC PURPOSES

Anno nuovo, vita nuova. O almeno così si vocifera. Immagino che il 2013 non sarà particolarmente diverso dal 2012, ma posso impegnarmi perchè lo sia il più possibile. Ad esempio potrei:
-buttare via le mie vecchissime ballerine di Mauro Leone a cui sono tanto affezionata: quello sì che sarebbe un vero e proprio cambiamento.
-scegliere un colore diverso dal rosso lacca per la manicure.
-optare per una tinta castana e lasciare alle spalle così il mio biondo, che mi porto dietro da quando sono nata.
-cominciare ad andare in palestra (ma oltre ad essere un anno diverso, il mondo finirebbe).
-decidermi ad acquistare un paio di Ugg. Che aborro da quando sono entrati in commercio, ma ammetto che sono terribilmente comodi.
-vendere la mia pochette di Burberry, così piccola, che non so cosa mi abbia spinto a sceglierla.
-leggere i racconti di Guy De Maupassant o i noir di Edgar Allan Poe, che tanto mi affascinano.
-riprendere a disegnare i miei bozzetti ispirati a Victoria Beckham.
-riguardare tutte le serie di The Hills ed immedesimarmi in Lauren Conrad.
-trovare un portafogli Miu Miu in saldo da San Carlo (impossibile, lo so).
-non innamorarmi delle vetrine Chanel in via Lagrange, qui a Torino.
-continuare ad amare ed adorare imperterrita la mia città, Torino, così simile alle altre, ma nel cuore così diversa, così splendida e così romantica.
Perchè Parigi, Londra o Roma saranno anche le tre capitali più belle d'Europa, ma Torino è e rimarrà per sempre la mia città preferita.

New year, new life. Or so it is rumored. I guess that 2013 will not be very different from 2012, but I can commit because it is as much as possible. For example, I could: 
-throw away my very old Mauro Leone's flats, in which I'm so affectionate: that would be a real change. 
-choose a different color from the red lacquer for my manicure. 
-opt for a brown tint and leave behind my blond, that I carry around since I was born. 
-start going to the gym (but in addition to being another year, the world would end).  
-decide to buy a pair of Ugg. I abhor them since they entered the market, but I admit are terribly comfortable. 
-sell my Burberry's pochette, so small, that I don't know what prompted me to choose it. 
-read the stories of Guy de Maupassant or noirs by Edgar Allan Poe, that so fascinate me. 
-resume drawing my sketches inspired by Victoria Beckham. 
-watch all The Hills's series and identify with Lauren Conrad. 
-find a Miu Miu wallet on sale at San Carlo (impossible, I know). 
-do not fall in love with the Chanel showcases in Via Lagrange, here in Turin. 
-continue to love and adore undeterred my city, Turin, so similar to the others, but in the heart so different, so beautiful and so romantic. 
Because Paris, London or Rome are also the three most beautiful capitals of Europe, but Turin is and will always be my favorite city.
